Grading and packing

Semi-huskedFully huskedPolished on requestDry container

Selection is on shell integrity and water content, with the eyes checked for mould and the husk trimmed clean. It is a forgiving line to ship and a steady one to sell, which is exactly why it is worth buying from someone who still opens boxes at the pack house rather than trusting the count.

How it travels

Coconut travels in a dry container for most Gulf routes and does not need the cold chain that the fruit lines do. What it does need is a stow that lets air move, because a tightly packed container that sweats will land you mould at the eyes however good the fruit was at loading.

Where we ship it

Husked coconut for the Gulf, Europe and beyond

We load for the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain, and into the UK, the Netherlands and Germany. Smaller buyers can take part of a mixed container alongside our other lines rather than committing to a full load of one item.
