Chilli is the line that punishes slow handling hardest. Ours goes from field to pre-cooler the same day, sorted for length, colour and freedom from anthracnose. G4 travels best and is what most Gulf buyers take, while the UK trade asks for Jwala. Both are packed in ventilated cartons with the liner chosen for the transit time rather than whatever is on the shelf.

How it travels
Below about 7 °C chilli takes chilling injury and pits; above 12 °C it loses turgor fast. That narrow band is why we fix the set point on the booking and why short-window orders go by air even though the freight costs more — a cheap reefer that lands limp fruit is not cheap.
Where we ship it
We load for the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain, and into the UK, the Netherlands and Germany. Smaller buyers can take part of a mixed container alongside our other lines rather than committing to a full load of one item.
