Grading and packing

Fruit is cut at the calliper the destination asks for, de-handed, washed and packed in cluster trays rather than whole hands, which travels better and sells faster off a shelf. Crown rot treatment and carton spec follow your market's rules.

How it travels

Banana is the least forgiving line we carry. Below 12 °C it chills and greys; a vent setting left wrong will ripen a whole container in transit. We agree the set point and vent position before the box is booked and send the loading temperature with the documents, so if anything moves you find out from us rather than at the door.

Where we ship it

Cavendish banana for the Gulf, Europe and beyond

We load for the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain, and into the UK, the Netherlands and Germany. Smaller buyers can take part of a mixed container alongside our other lines rather than committing to a full load of one item.
